Calculators
Aftermarket Revenue Opportunity Calculator
Estimate annual replacement demand and incremental aftermarket revenue for merchants with an installed customer base. All outputs are labeled as modeled estimates.
Who this tool is for
Merchants selling equipment plus replacement parts or consumables—water filters, coffee parts, vacuum bags, automotive maintenance parts, and similar catalogs.
How it works
Enter installed base, attach rate, replacement frequency, price, margin, and optional current purchase rate. Adjust conservative, base, and optimistic multipliers to compare scenarios. Formulas are shown under the results.
Private by design: this tool runs in your browser. Business inputs are not uploaded to our servers. No account required.
FAQ
Are the results a forecast?
No. Outputs are modeled estimates based on your inputs and editable scenario multipliers.
How do you avoid double-counting existing purchases?
Current purchases are estimated from base demand × current purchase rate, then subtracted from scenario demand.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Inputs stay in your browser and are not stored by default.
Modeled estimates only. Inputs stay in your browser and are not uploaded.
Scenario results (modeled estimates)
Modeled estimates only — not measured results or forecasts. Existing purchases are subtracted so they are not counted twice.
| Scenario | Demand (units/yr) | Existing revenue | Incremental revenue | Incremental gross profit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| conservative | 8,960 | $78,400 | $172,480 | $77,616 |
| base | 11,200 | $78,400 | $235,200 | $105,840 |
| optimistic | 13,440 | $78,400 | $297,920 | $134,064 |
Formulas and assumptions
- Annual replacement demand = installed base × attach rate × replacements per year × scenario multiplier
- Existing units = base demand × current purchase rate (when provided)
- Incremental units = max(0, scenario demand − existing units)
- Incremental revenue = incremental units × average selling price
- Incremental gross profit = incremental revenue × gross margin
